Do You Offer Fire Hydrant Testing?
We offer full fire hydrant testing service which measures the pressure and maximum flow rate from back hydrant and a full condition and mapping report which is used as part of your arrival maintenance program, it is required that all fire hydrants are tested on an annual basis. The hydrant test shall be conducted by fitting a standard pipe to the outlet and then attaching a flow testing rig giving a report by graph form of pressure and flow running together of a given period.
Full mapping service is carried out using Autocad drawings system and GPS of each hydrant can also be done. A full condition report of hydrant, chamber, lid and surrounding area is also included in this survey and any remedial work carried out. All fire hydrant testing and surveying conducted in accordance with BS: 5306 all parts.
